The institute advises, guides and supports justice stakeholders on crime, justice and victim policies through sustained research.

Certified professional programs, winter courses, workshops, mentorship and internships, and guidance on writing journal papers and theses and on presenting at conferences.

Expert consultancy in crime science, cyber security, forensic science and forensic medicine, and in organising conferences and seminars.

Founder and Principal Director
Prof. (Dr.) K. Jaishankar
Professor K. Jaishankar founded IIJPS in 2022. He is the founder of cyber criminology as an academic discipline, the proponent of the Space Transition Theory of cybercrime, and the Founder President of the South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology (SASCV). He received the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI)–Scopus Young Scientist Award 2012 in Social Sciences and was a Commonwealth Fellow (2009–2010) at the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, School of Law, University of Leeds. He is currently also the Principal Research Fellow at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.

The official journal of IIJPS is a gold open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal (ISSN 3108-0804, online) publishing research, case studies and reviews in the justice and police sciences. The founding Editor-in-Chief is Prof. (Dr.) K. Jaishankar.
